Windings in Starter are Going Bad and need New Starter! "Battery; 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 Years Old or looks Swollen (Shorted) on the Sides needs to be Replaced! Also "Load Test" to see if it will Take and Hold a Charge?" (Check All Ground Wires & Straps!)

My brothers ride did that and it was the fuel pump. He had a reset button on it that had to be pressed. Could be oxygen censure or map censure. It could have jump time. You might have a failed plug. To check this go out at night and have someone start your truck and you look under the hood. You should see a spark from the plugs and if you don't then change the one you don't see sparking. It works. Better then guessing.

Well it sounds like the choke on carburetor problems in the past...Now days it is the clogged up injectors. Run some sort cleaner for the injectors into the gas tank. (i`m a big fan of marvelous mystery oil). If this will not cure the problem. Then look at the sensors on the intake.

Check the vacuum line going to the fuel pressure regulator, if there is fuel in there then you need a new one(fpr). You should also do a fuel system pressure/volume test. My money is on the FPR.

if it's never acted up before, it's probably some bad gas or MAYBE a fuel pump going bad. Another likely source is something caught in the fuel filter. EDITED TO ADD: The engine "not even turning over" in the one guy's story has NOTHING to do with a fuel pump.

you need to do a fuel pressiure check at the rail, check for spark, it may not be a fuel delivery problem, but if you have enough pressure at the rail, then it is most likely bad injectors.

Try replacing the starter... I have a car that bearly strted thought the starter sounded fine and fired everythime... I took it and had it tested and it failed... Just take it and it tested if nothing else... It might just be your problem.
