I was thinking June.

June/July are both good. Winter however, is gorgeous, cold, but gorgeous.

The summer months do provide long hours of daylight, and plenty of great fishing opportunities (if you like fishing).

August provides fall colors, and the later in the fall the brighter the colors. Temperatures will be a bit colder, but you also start approaching the Aurora Borealis time; as it gets dark in the late night hours.

I would agree with June, near the end of June when the days are longest.

Anytime will be spectacular! Where do you want to go? How will you get there? There are only 3 highways here. What do you want to do when you get here? Is temp an issue? Is money an issue? Take plenty of pics, make lots of memories, and enjoy!
