I find it interesting that many people are answering here that they are either OK with unisex names or even like it. I find that interesting because I once posted a question about the name Angel for a boy, and I got bombarded with all kinds of negative comments about naming my son a girl's name. Angel is a common boy's name in the Hispanic culture.
Anyway, I think for me it depends on the name. I have nothing against unisex names, but based on my own experience with the name, I sometimes don't see certain names as unisex, I think of them as only male or female.
For example, Alexis to me is a boy's name. But for other's it it strictly a girl's name. Same for Robin.

Depends on the name. In general, I like unisex names on girls, not on boys. Some unisex names today are way too feminine (examples: Kelly, Tracy, Ashley, Alexis, Carrie, Avery) for boys.
On girls, I like Rowan, Sydney, Riley, Morgan, Sklyar.
Some names should remain a boy's name...it's too masculine like Hunter, Sean, Tyler, Dylan but it's crossing over to unisex.

Not really. It seems like lately "unisex" names are mainly applied to girls and most of the time they aren't actually unisex. There are some that are all right, but most sound too feminine for a boy and too masculine for a girl for my taste.

Yes. My name is Jordan and I am a girl. I named my second daughter Mackenzie, which is a unisex name. Other than Mackenzie, I am not a big fan of other unisex names.

Yes and no. I like certain unisex names, but not all. My favorite name for a girl is Morgan. I am pregnant with twins and if I have a girl, her name will be Morgan. I also like Ryan and Jordan for boys.

depends on what the name is... i've heard a lot of them that i like for both a boy and a girl, but there have been some that don't sound unisex at all and in my opinion would only sound good for a girl or a boy

Yes and no
Unisex names I like for both
Anaya, Zaire, Jordan, Avery, Harley, Brynn, Alex, Drew, Daryl, Corey/corie, Casey/Kaci, Devan, Hayden
Unisex names I like for boys
River, Hunter, Bailey, Michael, Peyton, Ryan, Tyler, Bradley
Unisex names for girl
Ashley, Hayley, Lesley, Jamie, Sasha, Riley, Taylor
I think naming a boy Riley a popular girl name is dumb
I think naming a girl Hunter, a popular boy name is dumb
Some unisex names could be used for either sex

I do like unisex names a lot, but I would not use them for my children because I don't like that they are unisex!

I think unisex names are great.. I really like Jordan, Ryan(Ryanne), Riley, Morgan... and a few others.
Goodluck and I don't think you'll regret picking a unisex name... I think it makes a person unique!!
