our house burned down and some of the money were burned too {its sides} but the money still looks like a money but with burned sides. does the bank change this money?

oh how sad about your house; yes they should be able to change the money depending on how much of the serial number is there.

There are two serial numbers printed on the front of every bill.
To trade in a mutilated bill, one serial number must be complete and also at least one number from the other must be clearly visi ble.

If over half of the bill is still there, they probably will exchange it for you.
