Four Non Blondes-"What's Up"

25 years of my life and still
I'm trying to get up that great big hill of hope
for a destination

I am trying to make it more like
Shania Twains "Feel Like a Woman"
I'm going out tonight-I'm feelin' alright
Gonna let it all hang out
Wanna make some noise-really raise my voice
Yeah, I wanna scream and shout
No inhibitions-make no conditions
Get a little outta line
I ain't gonna act politically correct
I only wanna have a good time

The best thing about being a woman
Is the prerogative to have a little fun (fun, fun)

The Grateful Dead's "Truckin", only for that line "lately it's occurred to me what a long strange trip it's been". I had always hoped it would be "If You Could Read My Mind", by Gordon Lightfoot, but it's ended up being just strange!

Isn't it funny I was just thinking about that today, when I was younger I would have said The Long and Winding Road by the Beatles, because it's been a trip.

Now it'd be either My way by Frank Sinatra or Let it Be by the Beatles.

GREATEST LOVE OF ALL (Whitney Houston)
Lyrics
I believe the children are our are future
Teach them well and let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty they possess inside
Give them a sense of pride to make it easier
Let the children's laughter remind us how we used to be
Chorus:
I decided long ago, never to walk in anyone's shadows
If I fail, if I succeed
At least I'll live as I believe
No matter what they take from me
They can't take away my dignity
Because the greatest love of all
Is happening to me
I found the greatest love of all
Inside of me
The greatest love of all
Is easy to achieve
Learning to love yourself
It is the greatest love of all

Some of the lyrics dont fit for me and those I left out.

I was a lucky lady and found a man that WOULD NOT allow me to walk in his shadow.

Great question. Thanks.

Forget those 3... Mine would be...

"Where is Love" (From musical "Oliver")

Where is Love?
Does it fall from skies above?
Is it underneath the willow tree that I've been dreaming of?

Where is he?
Whom I close my eyes to see.
Will I ever know the sweet, "hello," that's meant for only me?

Who may say where he may hide.
Must I travel far and wide
'Till I am beside that someone who... I can mean something to.

Where.... Where is Love?

Have a dandy-ol day!

The long and winding road by the Beatles. I turned 50 last year, and I have had many curves in my lifetime.

Let Down by Radiohead. Heh. The title is only the least bit misleading.
