I have a Dell Dimension 4550 and I'm just not sure what kind of motherboard it is. All I have found my looking on my computer is that the mainboard is Dell Computer Corp. Can anyone help? I was wanting to upgrade and get more ram (2GB), a better video card, and a better cpu.

This cpu is what I'm wanting to get, or at least another 3.2GHz:

Intel Pentium 4 640 Prescott 3.2GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 Processor

Or:

Intel Pentium 4 641 Cedar Mill 3.2GHz 2MB L2 Cache LGA 775 EM64T Processor

Thanks,

HummersRock

Download and install Belarc Advisor for free. It has no nasty spyware to upset your computer. The Belarc Advisor builds a detailed profile of your installed software and hardware, missing Microsoft hotfixes, anti-virus status, CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks, and displays the results in your Web browser. All of your PC profile information is kept private on your PC and is not sent to any web server.

Just check your computer modum or you could take your computer apart , or finally you could just talk to a computer specialist at best buy or something.
