I have ended every relationship I've been a part of--so, I guess heartbreaker. I don't try to be cruel about it though. If it isn't going to work you aren't doing the other person any favors.

I've only had 3 serious relationships. One of them, I ended and then was stalked. One of them just kinda petered out; neither one of us actually ever said "It's over." I've been in the third one for 21 years now, just about 22. I used to leave him all the time lol :)

I am a heartbreaker, the only way I got married was to get him so upset that he almost killed me then I realized how much he loved me and how absolutely frustrated I can make a man become. So I am a little more cautious but it still seems to happen anyway. I need someone to just not listen when I tell them I want to break up...that way its banter and I will eventually have to stop breaking up and make a wedding date...ex hubby was the only one who learned. He did go crazy though...looong story.

I am a heartbreaker, but not in the sense of me leaving relationships--I've generally been so rotten that I've driven the other person away.

I would have to say it's aways been the woman who has called it quits. If two people can't work out their differences, why continue your relationship. Things will only get worse.

I'm the one with scars on my chin from being dumped. I've only broken up a few times.
"Throwin' out the body to cut down on the drag" - Matthew Ryan's "Guilty".
I also feel like I've been tossed from a moving car.
Then, I dust myself off and get on with life.

I'm about 65/35 on that one, with the bias toward being the breaker over the breakee. Hurts about the same both ways.

I usually did the breaking up. But my fourth husband (yes, I'm serious!) broke my heart hard enough to make up for all the others -- he committed suicide almost two years ago.
