Brother-in-law's brother has a wife that told him she wasn't interested in sex anymore so he can date her younger sister, which he did and she had a baby with him. Now her and his wife raise that child together along with her six kids.
Parents had a friend who found a wife in Canada, brought her home, was married for five years, then she broke up with him to date his father. They got married and are still married. I just saw them in town today and thought up this silly question.
Know anyone's love life like these people?

Lots and Lots of them.
but the one that hits closest to home, is when I was 3 my father divorced my mother, to marry her young niece.
so now he is not only my father, but also my cousin.
so does that make me my own cousin?

My son and his wife have 2 daughters. His wife has a child with the boyfriend she moved in with about 3 years ago. For the past 6 months my son has been living with them and the children becaue he had no place else to live.
We are one of the few worldwide cultures where monogmay is the norm.

I don't know anyone as complicated as your example but I know rather too much about my upstairs neighbours love life-I seem to spend my entire life listening to it!!! I am disabled and so am at home mostly all the time and so I hear them in the mornings, sometimes at lunch and again in the evenings. I can tell who's on top, who's doing what to who, I can hear her grunting, the bed squeaking, even the mattress springs going!! I've told them that I find it really invasive and upsetting and they just don't care, in fact I think they got louder for my benefit! So I bought a loud haler on eBay and now I lay on my bed and scream at them. I found the most effective was to recite a long list of rather unerotic ladies: Margret Thatcher, Mo Molem, Anne Widecomme..... lol

Yes, it one of those issues that you feel, you know more about someone than you care to know.
In my home town, the father (who I grew up with) was caught sleeping with his sons wife.
It was the talk of the town. Juicy gossip that I didn't partake in.
It broke the his son up and he after drinking, drugging etc. trying to get over it eventually killed himself.
His mother stayed with his dad and they have gone on with their life as if they were untouched by the outcome.
All you can do is shake your head and wonder how that kind can become so twisted.
Edit: Loved the Utube Drummer Boy song with Bing Crosby.
Just beautiful.

The only thing I know that comes close to your examples....my partner tells me that when his mother died, his dad was devastated - for six weeks. Then his wife's sister came over to "comfort" him, and next day she moved in! It was terrible - the kids were all teenagers and were still grief-stricken, and in the bedroom there was dad and auntie going hell for leather and groaning their heads off ! My partner is in his 60's now, but he still gets upset when he talks about that awful time. He never forgave his father for being so careless of his children's feelings.

That is strange. I've never encountered anyone like those people. One day when I was shopping there was a 20ish checker who decided that I wanted to know that she had just started taking the pill and she was finally having regular periods, and it made her life so much better. TMI!
That's funny Phil... I was thinking of that same song.

Unfortunately could write true stories about at least 3 local families in our town. The only thing you didn't put in there is: how many are buried in the family plot in the yard? I'm not kidding!

I used to work with a young woman who insisted on telling all of the info about her romanic happenings( if ya get my drift)She was dating this guy for awhile, the story goes...when he decided he was attracted to her mom also. They all discussed it, he couldn't decide which one he "loved" the most so they all moved in together. Talk about strange. He and the mom used to often come up and visit her at work.

No, I don't. If someone begins talking about their love life I stop them immediately and tell that "that is too much information". I change the subject abruptly. I don't want to know nor do I ever ask.

Now, this sounds like an episode of Jerry Springer. The best I can say is that I would hate to be your family's genealogist! I can just see this family tree...more like a twisted thicket of entwined branches....and just figuring out what to call the relationships reminds me of an old song, "I'm my own Grandpa." Phil
