I guess you didnt see the Saints game. The Saints were winning with under 2 mins with good field position and Tampa had no timeouts. Payton decides to do a reverse. Of course Bush messes up and fumbles and the Bucs recover. They score a touchdown with :14 left and win the game. I think Payton would get the award for dumb coach of the year.

no dumbest call of the day goes to either Joe Gibbs or Sean Payton
Gibbs: called 2 consecutive timeouts when BUF kicker was attempting a 51 yd field goal which was a 15 yd penalty and automatic 1st down with under :10 left which resulted in a 36 yd field goal that won the game for BUF
Payton: Saints were up 23-20 after getting the ball back after a safety at somewhere around the Bucs 49 yd line when TB had no timeouts left with 3:30 left in the game and called a reverse which Reggie Bush fumbled and TB recovered, converted a 4th and 1 and scored a game-winning TD with :14 left
needless to say, stop complaining lol...at least NYG won

Redman wrote what I was thinking. Payton made the dumbest call with the Saints 3 points ahead and 3 minutes to go in the game. Bush made a stupid pitch, fumbled, and he and Coach Payton cost the Saints the game. They literally gave away the game. Dumb and dumber. I'd have to nominate that call, too, as the dumb coaching move of the year.

I agree. The Giants were lucky to win. I was surprised that the Bears did not send someone deep on each of those plays in the final drive. They should have went for the big play sooner, while at the same time having a release receiver and one over the middle.

Good point! However, the Giants just won the game. It should be Coughlin's last year, however!

I agree
The giants kicker is pretty bad, but he still shouldn't have taken that risk
1 min 33 seconds is a lot to give the bears. I thought hester was going to go 60 yards and the giants lose
They won though, so idc

The giants defense were playing too good in the 2nd half. He trusted his defense to make a stop and it worked.
