I think he's so knee deep in endorsements that he doesn't realize he has no game.

Thank YOU! I do not think he is as good as he has been made out to be...Im surrounded by Saints fans and convinced that he was hyped up so much just to bring some money into New Orleans and sell jerseys. That, he has done...but thats about it. Kind of a disappointment actually.

He isn't worth all the hype. History has shown that players that are over-hyped in college turn out to be busts most of the time in the NFL (Ryan Leaf). He is a solid player but unless he learns to pound the ball up the middle and gain yards he's a bust.

If he did go in the 2nd round than I would say he is a solid player but as a 1st round pick and a top 5 one at that...he's a bust.

On the other hand, Mario Williams..........

As of Dec. 02, 2007 ~ 36 Total Tackles, 8.5 sacks so far this season.

I think you're overstating how bad he is just as the hypsters overstated how good he is. He isn't a guy you build your offense around. I don't think anyone saw him as that. He's a guy who's great in the open field and can be lined up just about anywhere and make a play. If you have a guy who can be your major between the tackles back, I think that Reggie's a very nice guy to have around for a change of pace.

No. Especially after today's game. He just can't seem to keep his hands on the ball. No game. You hit the nail on the head. I think the fame has gone to his head and he's not giving his all anymore. He should do a lot better job than he's doing for the amount of money he's being paid.

I wouldn't expect a second year player with the (S)aints to have any decent stats.

But RB is running for 3.6 per carry. and 5.8 per reception.

He can't run inside like he did in college. The NFL is simply a different game. So he needs to learn to find the creases.

A power runner like Lendale White has far less to learn.

Walter Payton average 3.7 per carry in his first year and 4.2 in the second. Emmitt ran for 3.9 & 4.3 per carry in the first 2 years. Marcus Allen 4.4 & 3.8 per carry. OJ 3.9 & 4.1.

So perhaps RB is a little down on those hall-of-famers. But I don't think I would expect much more. Come back in 5 years & ask me again :-)

he is having a rough year

look at what he did last year?

its only his 2nd year and the first year he played with the saints they won 10 games!

just because he isnt rushing for 3 touchdowns a game doesnt mean he sucks. give him time and he will prove you all wrong

No. He cost USC the NC and probably crushed the Saints hopes of making the postseason.

He needs to spend more time in practice and less time doing promotions.
