ga, they won their last game , didnt play in the sec champ but they were ranked higher than lsu and by them winning sec doesnt justify a 5 spot jump over other teams, they lost to ark for petes sake plus they already had 2 chances to be at #1 and couldnt get it done

Well... Lets see... Georgia! No they did not win or go to the SEC Championship but you do not have to that in the BCS in order to go to the Tiltle game! They were ranked number 4, OSU 3, WVU 2, and MIZZOU 1...... Mizzou and WVU lost! OSU should be at 1 and UGA should be at 2! Now if Tennessee would have beaten LSU, UGA might have gone! And the last thing we should do is move down instead of up! Number 5 just puts us in the right place for next year cause Matthew Stafford in going to get better every year! =)

How about neither. They both would have to jump many teams in the rankings, and neither had a huge win against the #1 team at the time. Let's go with Ohio State and OU. Ohio State is in, just because they are Ohio State and were ranked third in the BCS poll, before the weekend. OU should be in for its thrashing of the #1 team in the BCS. We could also look at records and say Hawaii (only undefeated team) and Ohio State, Mizzou, or Kansas (each only have one loss). Let's also throw USC into this arguement, the BCS is a joke this year. This just shows why there needs to be a playoff system in the Bowl Championship Subdivision.

Virginia Tech...lost twice to a #2 team. Cannot compare them with LSU or Georgia and say those two are better.

University of Georgia........the Sugar Bowl is reserved for the SEC Champion unless the champion is ranked high enough to be considered for the National Championship.

well, I bet you that Georgia fans will say Georgia...and LSU fans will say LSU
being a fan of neither...I would have to say LSU, because they won their conference...but do I think LSU deserves it over Oklahoma...no
there victory was more convincing over the #1 team in the country
