I'm doing a project that has to do with experiencing nature. I'm researching a creek, and something I have to fill in is the "Sight."

I need to draw specific organisms in detail, but I don't know which ones to draw. Can someone give a list of organisms in a natural setting in the suburbs right outside of DC?

If you can, use online sources because I need scientific names and stuff.

Um... there are natural settings in the suburbs... such as Potomac RIVER, but I'm talking about a creek down in the woods of my neighborhood.

Anyone want to answer the question?

The first thing I thought of is Squirrels. There are also Coyotes, ducks, pigeons, and quite an assortment of birds depending on where you are.

Again, good luck on your report!

I'm afraid there is no such thing as a natural setting in the suburbs. Humans have taken over and covered up and destroyed all that could truly be considered natural.

If you are trying to study a creek, I can only suggest you go out and look and see what's growing along side it, what is living in it and what is under the rocks the water is running over.

There are Blue Whales and Great White sharks in the Potomac river. In D.C. itself it's mostly Vultures and Rats and Pigs and Vermin.
