Where is the pain that is (or isn't) helped with rubbing?

yes, rubbing helps, feels good, lower back, down, no lower, lower, down a bit more, ahhh, yeah just right.. : )

To answer both questions...

- That depends on where I'm hurting, sometimes rubbing makes it more sensitive, other times it feels good and/or eases the pain.

- I think that emotional pain can be superficially and temporarily soothed with some "rubbing" (any form of attention/affection or even good sex) but not necessarily removed or fully taken care of.

only if a kiss goes with it.
BTW I hurt my butt,,rubbing it does help,but a kiss would take all the pain out of it

That all depends on why it's hurting. If it hurts from rubbing it too much then no.

As long as it isn't blistered or bleeding, then for me rubbing helps!

always make me feel better about it or it at least gets someone to notice that I'm hurt, and they can help it feel better.
