CRISP OATMEAL COOKIES a million a million/2 cups brown sugar 3/4 cup shortening a million a million/4 cups flour 3 cups rapid oats a million/3 cup buttermilk a million/2 teaspoon vanilla 3/4 teaspoon baking soda in case you have not got any buttermilk, use prevalent milk with a million teaspoon vinegar further. combination all aspects nicely so as given. Drop on greased cookie sheet and flatten to a million/8 thickness. Bake at 350 tiers for about 8 to 10 minutes. Makes 80 cookies.
