My parents were both in military stationed in Germany where I was born I know there is an agency thru the government we can write to and not have to use the millions of ads on the internet charging a lot money to get a copy of our birth certificates both my parents have passed away so that is not an option. Thanks to any one that could help again

Its called a "Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the United States of America" also referred to as the Consular Report of Birth or FS-240.

You can go to the county records department they were born in, pay a fee, provide id and get a copy.

I did this once for a friend out of the country when she lost her passport.... mailed it to her. It cost $4.
