That's because SEC Fans like to have it both ways. They will say that OSU lost to an unranked team, which they did-IL, but they fail to point out that when OSU played WI, Penn ST, Michigan, and Purdue, those teams were ranked at the time

Illinois was unranked when they beat Ohio State. The only reason they got ranked was because of that win.

Maybe because they lost to an unranked team...
If you play a team that is 0-5 for the year...and they beat you..and they end up 6-5....is it your position that they did not lose to a winless team.
And who knows...maybe without the OSU victory, The Illini would not be ranked.
Either way, it DOES NOT matter. OSU is the 1st team in, and whoever the other team is will kill 'em again in the BCS game.
It happens every year, the best school of the slow, unimiginative, cold weather conference whips the other slower, even less imaginative teams all year....and every one is in awe of how good they are...until they play a team with imaginative offenses and defenses and speed to burn.
Fool me once...fool me twice kinda thing...
They'll lose by 2 TD's.

the way this season has lengthy gone words like overrated are somewhat overstating fact. competition is at an all time extreme and we the followers are a substantial beneficiary of this. Ohio State performed a crew that somewhat had to win and had a correct high quality of athlete that the Buckeyes hadn't considered a lot of contained in the previous few weeks. i might want to infrequently call the Spartans a mediocre crew. i imagine they're a crew on the upward thrust. provide them a season or 2. Your crew performed 2 sturdy communities early on. Face it. App. St. has gained lower back-to-lower back D-I Nat'l. Titles. the in basic terms enormous difference between App. St. athletes and significant college athletes were oppurtunity, time, and, from time to time, affordability. This season is a few distance from over.

Because the national media is biased against the Big Ten and definitely biased against Ohio State. I'm sure ESPN was making excuses for why LSU needs to be in the BCS Championship game.
I'm shocked Urban Meyer isn't begging for people to vote the Gators into the BCS, again.
