I don't have anything extra in the plan.. just the regular minutes as well as 250 text messages.

Depends on the priceplan and the phone you have.
If you have the America's Choice then yes.

If you just have a regular phone its $5.00 a month then if you use it during peak hours then the time you are on the web does go against your minutes.

BUT if you have the VCAST Vpak which is 15 a month then it does not go against your minutes.

The new nationwide plans they came out with include the Mobile web but it costs $1.99 per megabyte.

If you have a PDA like a blackberry or Motorola Q then no it does not. But if you do not have the internet pack on there its .015 per kilobyte.

Best thing to do is to find out what plan you have by going to Verizonwireless.com and signing up for my account its free.

Mobile Web is $5.99 a month with Verizon no other hidden cost.

Are you asking if your using your cell to hook your laptop up to when you go on line with? No. Because the phone just calls the 800# of your net server and you go on line through there. Just make sure you have a plan that gives you limitless minutes.
