I watched a great doc today about 2 artists during the 18th century and how their paintings helped people discover their self worth and meaning. It has really opened my eyes to socialism and society. Sometimes I feel extrodinary lonely and ask myself what's it all about. Am I the only one that feels this?

I always thought I wasn't the only one! It's a strange feeling, almost cruel that I won't be here one day. Sorry for sounding depressed! I'm cool honestly x

'Sometimes I feel extrodinary lonely'.
If you are marouned by yourself, on rocky island in the Pacific. I can understand this.
However, if you are a resident of New York. I can also, understand this.
As this indicates, you are seeking an escape from the pressures of todays society.
In that, the artists of the 18th Century were
making statements-through their artistry- about their own interpretations of their world and how socialism affected their own society, as they knew it.
Therefor, you can't attempt to hide behind their work. You must face todays society, head on. As todays society is entirely different to theirs.
Whilst their work maybe, Artistry of applause.
Their interpretation of social standards is groundless

The feeling of being alone or lonliness has nothing to do with other people. It comes from you being seperated from your true self or not knowing who you are. Socrates said "Know thyself." See site below and learn to feel perfect peace.

Hey, DL, which is my initials too, dlh,
yeah , i would feel like this too, & do sometimes when i get my eyes off Christ. No i'm not gona preach u a sermon, just that, there's more to life than whats today, & in this mere clay body of dust.
we find our meaning, in doing what is his will, & find our peace & fulfillments there, w/out that , life has no meaning, no hope.
He is our Hope.
