hi all,
my ex and i broke up because he was always working and he never had time for me. we broke up about 2 years ago. after we broke up he would always keep in touch till this day. he calls me like every 3-4 weeks to see how i am doing? also, when he calls he wants to hang out and everytime i hang out with him we end up kissing (no sex) just kissing,,,so its not a booty call...im trying to figure him out..what does he want from?? does this make any sense at all?? cause im so confused as to why he hooks up with me when we hang out but we r not together...ive been dating other guys after him and i know that hes been dating other girls after me...i need help trying to figure this out??? im gonna ask him whats on his mind, but before i do this i just want everyones opinion...im curious

There is something abut u he admires and respects..
could be cause u are not his booty call..
and wants to be?
I think u are strong will ,
to break up.. when he didn't spend time with u.. instead of just settling for what ever he would give u..
perhaps he is sorry.. and No's he was wrong..
but maybe he had a good reason for not seeing u very often.. but again,,
I say go girl..
so many just settle..
good to no u aren't just sitting at home waiting for Ur knight in shining Armour..
Keep on doing what u are dong..
and NOTE.. I doubt he is gonna tell u the real reason why he still calls and wants to hang out w/ u??

He calls you and checks on you because he still cares about you. He kisses you because there is a level of comfort there... because you were so close before. He obviously views you as a friend, but probably not a lover again just yet. If a guy doesn't want sex, he is getting it elsewhere. But maybe he'll come back to you. Just give him space for now and be there for him as a friend. Keep the atmosphere fun and light and maybe someday... it'll work. Maybe not.

In my opinion, he still wants to know if the gate is open. Meaning that if he still wanted you, you would go. If it's not a booty call, I can't think of any other reason.

Exes are exes for good reasons.
If he is still in contact with you, maybe he cares for you- but you are wasting your time.
Perhaps he feels you care about him and that makes him feel secure, to know that he can count on you whenever he needs you; but what is in it for you on the long run?
Men and women think differently... and if you are not going to get back together, then stop all contact- and move on.

I think he just wants to know that you are always going to be there for him... maybe your the one he wants to marry but he's not ready yet and wants to wait till you both get a little older and then if your still avalible then you might get toghter again. it sounds like you have a very special relationship.
