Was it worth it so save yourself until you got married?

This is a very personal decision, one that has to do with your upbringing, family life and values, and tradition.
Some people will wait until marriage to have sex, others won't. You will hear from everybody, because everyone is different.

What I'd say is try to be true to yourself. If you feel that waiting until marriage is the right thing to do, then do it...and don't let others doubt yourself. Good luck.

You sound a bit old fashioned, as most people don't wait until marriage to have sex. Imagine if your future husband was really crap at sex or was a bloody deviant who may be into all this 'weird' sex stuff, or even possibly couldn't get it up!
What if you found out you didn't like sex and your hubby was/is a fantastic lover? Your marriage would be over!
As much as you may think saving yourself until your wedding night is the right thing to do, I personally wouldn't want any of those things above to happen to me.
I'm not saying go out and start shagging everything with a pulse, just that when you think you have found the right man and you both think the time is right then do the 'wild thing' and see how you both go! Don't get married to find out out you are both not good lovers, as sex is one of the most important issues in a stable relationship.

No. Didn't save myself and I dont regret it. First of all, I agree with zuribell. You will start to feel like you might have missed out on the fun of your youth and then what? Go out and commit adultery? Even i things with you husband go sour, you can always reminisce about the good ol' days.
Life's too short. And what if your husband turns out to be a cheater or just a bad husband who suddenly stops paying you attention, you will so regret having waited!

Don't do it because after you get married and things get a little rough u'll think u missed out and then go back out there and that's just messy. Have fun before you get married (safe fun) because it's difficult being married but then you know what life's about being single and it makes you appreciate what you have.

I didnt but I wish I had. It would have made our wedding night all the more special. More importantly, when you have sex with someone and things do not work out, you feel cheap. Please wait!
