I shop a lot in VS online store, yesterday I received email: "FREE Panty + $15 OFF = One Hot Holiday! Ends Dec. 6." That coupon is valid for stores only. So I went to the store to get my bra with $15 discount. I spend close to an hour choosing my things. Then I get to the register and give them my printed coupon and they confused looking at it, asking me if I work for VS, because in coupon under bar code says "Store associate use only". I don't work for VS. And they did not accept my valid coupon. Also under coupon discription for what its valid it says".. Associates of VS and affilidates are not eligible" that contradicts the reason they didn't accept my coupon. I have store manager written her name and "Not accepted" and date on coupon paper. So what should I do?

Write a letter. That's what I always do. I don't like talking on the phone. If you do choose to write a letter write a good one
and be nice and explain how upset the whole ordeal made you feel. You know as the old sane goes "you get bees with honey than with vinegar." Good Luck :)

Possibly it depends on who is working the counter and how much attention they are paying to the coupon itself. Sometimes the cashier wont even look at the coupon other than the % to ring in off the purchase. Also if they do see it is expired if you fake ignorance and act so sorry for handing it to them you should have looked you can 70% of the time get the sympathy ride where they say awwww dont worry about it I'll go ahead and give it to you anyway.

Why bother doing anything? Your time is not so valuable that they owe you money for "wasting your time" especially since if you time was that important to you, you could have asked if the coupon was valid before you started looking. That store did not give you the coupon, and since you didn't do anything to make sure the coupon was valid before wasting your time, they are not liable for anything.

Call VS customer service number 1.800.411.5116
and tell them what happened with the coupon. Offer to email them a copy of the coupon with the manager's name on it. They might rectify the situation. Good luck.

Get a grip.
Simply search the internet for another coupon if the one you have does not work.
Sites like:
http://www.couponmeup.com/
Generally provide multiple coupons for most online stores.

Nothing, if they scanned it and it didn't register as a coupon it may not be a legit coupon and you have no case. Why waste your time on this anyways...

A lawsuit for $15? You have been watching way too much television.

You should do nothing. You have no damages. One hour of shopping time is not worth clogging up the courts.

Geesh.

Sure you can sue. Maybe you will win, and mabye not.

Is it worth your time and the money necessary for a small claims suit for $15?
