I was wondering how different countries like Pakistan and China came to making clothes for the United States. I looked at my hoodie and a hat and started thinking about why different countries make our clothes. I want to know which trade agreements or treaties helped these countries become clothing producers for the US. Websites help too.

The price does really set it, but I just found a web site for you. It looked boring, but maybe the info you want is there.

The main reason that force the manufacturing companies out are the workers unions and their ridiculous demands. Many years ago when there were not so many laws to protect the workers, union were a necessity, today unions are the real culprits behind the outsourcing.

I used to work for a law firm and I was present in many negotiations in which I saw union leaders taking money in cash to settle the negotiations in favor of the employers. That's the truth about unions, their leaders are making lots of "untraceable" money while pushing the companies to leave or outsouce.

Sorry, the truth hurts, but it's the truth.
