Maybe it is for self satisfaction. My wife seems to have the same problem. She is always taking off with the check book or the debit card and making impulse buys. I am trying to get her to stop, but she doesn't listen. I have three major expenses coming up after the first of the year and it is driving me insane, not too mention, she works at walmart and is spending ten bucks daily for lunch. If you can come up with any solutions for yourself, let me know. I will think about my situation and share with you anything else I can think of.
