I am 37 weeks and know EXACTLY what you are talking about. It is just the baby putting pressure on our cervix! This is a good thing, means we are getting closer to labor and our cervix is getting ready to dilate!

Hey,

Im in my first pregnancy too and ive had this since about 36weeks i even went to the hospital one day coz i thought my baby was comming!!!!!

When my dr checked me out and the baby he said everything was fine and that i wasnt going into labour yet!!!! He said it was completely normal though and it is just the baby putting pressure down there.

I also have really bad back ache and constant peeing what can we do!!!!

Im scheduled for my first c-section tomorrow though so i get to get out of all this early!!!!! Cant wait!!!

Good luck and take care!

Sounds like your cervix may be dilating. Some people get back labor which feels different from the "normal" labor.

If you are worried, you should trust your instincts and go to the ER. Don't let yourself feel foolish, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Otherwise, just ask your doc at your next appointment.

Pains are normal, all of them that you have described are normal.

The weight of the uterus and the pressure of it and the baby causes pinched nerves, pulled muscles and tendons, and pain. Also, most women at this point have internal vaginal hemorrhoids that hurt quite badly inside the vagina. Without that just the pressure of the uterus and baby in the birthcanal is enough to cause vaginal pain.

You're normal.

THe period cramps are the feeling of your cervix changing.

it sounds like the baby's head is moving down getting ready to go into position.. and the back killing and the cramps sounds like they are contractions.. you may be going into labor VERY soon! You may want to check with the Dr. Good luck sweetie! and Congrats~!

At 35 weeks, you are probably having braxton hicks contractions But I have to say, if the pain gets worse, it could be onset of an early labour, so contact your midwife or doctor.
Good Luck with your new baby xx
