Parma - Normandy High School - The cheerleaders were hazing the new recruits in the 80's when a tile from the gym ceiling fell and struck one of the girls in the head killing her. The cheerleaders didn't want to get in trouble so they threw her body in the woods behind the baseball diamonds. It is said that if you walk in the woods late and night, you can still hear her practicing her cheers.
Has anyone ever heard this story or know anything about it or actually witnessed it?

I also lived in the Cleveland (Berea) area for most of my life, and even worked at Parma Community General Hospital and lived in Parma at the time that I worked there, and I have never heard of such a story. I had friends who still lived in Parma after I moved to Lakewood, and if an incident like that had occurred, it surely would have eventually become a major news story. It's most likely an urban legend.

Living in the Cleveland/Parma area my whole life, i've never heard any credible story about this. I think it is just a myth listed on webpages. I've never found a real news story to back it up.
