It is pretty common for people who have problems to be the the last ones to admit to it.
Mentally fit people realize when they have mental health issues, it is the mentally unfit people who deny having them.
You are confusing mental health episodes, such as temporary depression from losing a loved one, with permenant mental illnesses such a paranoid schzophrenia or dual-personality disorders. Probably the exact confused and misinformed conclusion the writers in your link wish you to make.
