I can't find a meaning for it, but there is a minor actress named Anessa Ramsey (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1768017/)

My guess is your name is a shortening of Vanessa or a variant of Agnes. Babynamesworld.com lists Anessa as being a Russian shortening of name Agnessa, which means 'chaste'.

I like the name Anessa. It can have two origins-- relating to Anne or relating to Agnes. Anne means grace, and Agnes can mean pure or can relate to the word Agneau which means little lamb. Either way it's a nice meaning and a beautiful name!

It is from English and means a variant of Anne or Agnes.
