yes and yes, they are both markers of success although different kinds of success. If I can only have one I choose blissful marriage.

A Beautiful and blissful marriage is a gift from God above. People can view it as success. Financial independence is certainly success is some cases and in others it is a matter of luck, or a matter of a wealthy hand down which is known as "old money", and to have both is quite rare I would guess. Money does alot of funny things to people......

It depends on what you define as successfull. I am very proud of my marriage. Is it blissfull? Not every day but there is something to be said for sticking it out. As afr as money and worldly riches well you can't take them with you.
