I'm worried that my lack of extracurricular activities and GPA of only 3.133 will bring me down. Should I be overly worried or should I be fine. I mean, i do plan to take a photography class in Boston this summer which should amount to something, right?

That may help, but you should hopefully be admitted by then.

Keep 2 things in mind - if you don't like a school, you can always transfer somewhere else.

And while getting in the right school can be important to your ultimate career, the amount of effort you put into studying wherever you are is at least as important. You can attend an Ivy league school and still be a lazy self-indulgent dullard. You can go to State U, apply yourself, and be a Rhodes Scholar. Which will you be?

Hey, I've been hating this whole application process to schools also because I do not think a GPA and activities are a true judgement of character and eligibility. You are doing okay, not brilliant, but okay. Don't worry, okay is good, it is better than bad. haha, so just apply- you never know. you will most definitely get into a college, no problem. also, don't worry too much, i've learned that all my worrying is useless and a waste of my senior year.
