I do not "steal" salt and pepper, but I have been known to take more that I will use on the meal that I am purchasing at the moment! I spend a lot of time on the road, and many times find myself eating on the run (in the car driving). When you go through a drive through, you sometimes get the packets of salt and pepper in your order, but often times you do not!
When I go into a fast food establishment, I take some extra to have in the car. It is not stealing. It is not like I am stocking up the house with it. All I am doing is making sure that I have what I need when traveling! I may end up using Burger King salt on a Wendy's meal, or vice versa, but it all balances out in the end!
Ho Ho Ho and Merry Christmas!

sometimes when travelling we take a few, but only after shopping there, not like ducking in to use the bathroom and then walking out with free condiments
sometimes we take extra napkins, too, but you didn't ask about that
my favorite "freebie" for the road though is to buy a large iced tea, no ice, at McDonalds (their tea is real brewed tea)
then I fill up a 2 qt. insulated cooler with ice at the motel (free ice)
then dunp the large iced tea into the 2 ct cooler of plain ice and Ihave 2 qt of iced tea which will last all day, especially with the free sugar packes mentioned above
sometimes we buy ice at a gas station, but sometimes if you start with ice from home you can just keep it topped up from motel ice
I always pay for gas though. I'm not one of THOSE guys.

Only the salt from Wendy's. It's the best salt ever. I know it sounds weird, but it is and my roommate agrees (she's also a salt connoisseur). It's powdered or something so it sticks to your fries better than regular salt. Regular salt just bounces off and ends up at the bottom of the fry container.

NO I do not, Theft is Theft that's why our prices are so high is they have to cover there overhead cost, its people that steal that make us have to pay so much for things.
I believe you pay for what you want and if you can't afford it then you do with out, or at least ask and you will find that most of the time they will give it to you anyways. But there is no reason nor is it right to steal.

Sorry, no I don't. It would only clutter up my cabinets. I prefer to use my sea salt and pepper grinder.
My ex used to keep the mustard and ketchup packets and they kept falling out of the fridge or I would forget to use them.
I figure if it becomes a big problem with the owners they will raise the prices of the meals.

Not the salt and pepper but I do take the equal and splenda and I always take extra fire sauce from Taco Bell. I also help myself to coasters at bars.

I rarely use sugar, I use honey. I don't use pepper and I have to use low salt. I do take extra napkins and sauces. You got me there.

It's not stealing! They always give me more than I'll need at the drive-thru. I never eat in. I love having extra pkg. of ketchup and Horsey sauce.
