I am going to answer for my mother. That is a grandmother, who in about two weeks in going to be a great grandmother. My mother is 85, and my daughter that is having the baby took my mother in the room when she was having her ultra-sound, my mother was in awe, she got to see the baby sucking her thumb, and her whole body. My mom, said I sure wish we would of had that when we were young, and some of the children that died, might be alive due to ultra-sounds. But the look on my mothers face when she saw that living mircle is something that will stay with me until I die. She loved being able to stand there and try to understand how is it all done. On myself. I did not know on the first child. I was glad. But on my other two I wanted to know. Just something in me. I am not regretful of that decision. I had three girls. And I love everyone of them to death. Good Question.

a typical trimester ultrasound is very precise at courting a being pregnant, notwithstanding it DOES have a window of errors of +/- 4 days and in case you had intercourse with 2 men in basic terms each and every week aside, that's pushing it close. additionally, sperm can stay interior the feminine physique for as much as 4 days. There are quite a few different components why an ultrasound, jointly as sturdy at courting a being pregnant, would not be a sturdy thank you to be certain paternity. If the DNA try got here back as a tournament, the different guy is the daddy. the possibility of it being incorrect is variety of 0. You pronounced that the daddy of the infant needs no longer something to do with him, so enable your fiance be the daddy. i might, notwithstanding, tell him that he's not the organic and organic father. there is not any ought to inform something of his family individuals. The organic and organic father can sign his rights away, and as quickly as you're married your fiance-then husband-can undertake the infant. Love makes a family individuals, no longer blood. i'm hoping this helps, and that i choose you the final.

I have the privilege of seeing monthly updates of my granddaughter that is due in January. Not only have we seen the regular ultrasounds, and knew right away she was a girl, we also have the pictures of the new 3-D ultrasound. It is amazing! This picture looks like a perfect baby sculpted out of clay. And, you can pick out features that resemble one parent or the other (she has my son's lips - not my opinion, but the opinion of everyone who has seen it). I think they have overdone it a bit, though, seeing as I have 2 dvd's of different ultrasounds titled "Baby Girl King." Not something I'm going to watch repeatedly. I must admit, though, I have a hard time saying "Isn't she adorable?!?!?" when shown the pictures. I don't know if a fetus can be adorable. But I have mastered "ISN'T THAT AMAZING?!?!?" I'll save the "adorables" for after she is born.
And, to answer your question, yes, I wish it would have been done when I was pregnant. I really wanted to know.

When I had my children, ultrasounds were becoming common, but none of my three doctors used them for me. I definitely would not have wanted to know their sex. That was part of the excitement of the birth. My son and his wife chose not to know with their two boys. My daughter finally decided to find out because the nurse said she couldn't look at the ultrasound picture if she didn't want to know. It was a boy, standing upright and full-frontal!

It wasnt readily available for the first 2 kids, but the surprise was the best part. On my last one they did so many I thought he would be born glowing in the dark, or something. I can still see his dads face when they said it was a boy though.

I have 4 children, first 3 were girls, I didn't mind at all, I loved them so much, they were healthy, it really did not matter, but when I was carrying my fourth child I would have liked to know, but I'm so glad I didn't because nothing could replace the joy for my Husband and myself when they anounced it was a boy!!!....I was one of 5 sisters, no Brothers, and thought I was going to follow in my Mothers footsteps and have all girls...it was wonderful

When my sons were born fifty years ago I wasn't even allowed in the Hospital until after they were born, ultra sound may have existed but we weren't shown anything like that, and anyway I wouldn't have wanted to know, I preferred the surprise, and was very happy whatever they might have been.

I just wished we had that when I had my babies. It would have helped a lot, specially when preparing for a baby's name and baby's things. How convenient it would have been. I envy young mothers-to-be because with this new technology, they have more pleasure coming when they go and shop for baby's things and have more time to choose which and what colors to buy.

No not really, just another bill for test that they could charge you for. And I would not not want to know what sex the baby was, I would want it to be a surprise.

I had the opportunity but didn't take it I don't see any reason.
If God wanted me to see my child in the womb He would have given me a window!
