Both the employer and the illegal immigrant are breaking the law. One does not excuse the other.

Well, it is and it isn't. These people are people in need. They are looking for ways to improve their life. They see things different because to them is a matter of survival. To get here they have to go through hardship and even risk their life. They pay money to a coyote to try to get them in here but a lot of times the same coyote can kill them or rob them. Many a woman have been raped or lost their child trying to make it here. Well, its not always the case but it does happens. To them the risk is worth while. I think that if you are in such a situation where you are willing to risk your life just so that you can get exploited in bad working conditions then your life really must suck. So, what is the real choice then. If I was them I too would break the law and cross.

There is a big difference between not doing a crime because you know is wrong and doing a crime because you have no choice.

I think the whole system needs to be revamp because it doesn't work. Simply put there is very few reasons why an imigrant wants to stay in their country. One solution is to make their country more atractive. This means investing in that country. To me it would be a good idea to bring up the souther countires the way china and india and coming up. I mean they are withing driving distance and their way of life is more similar to ours than to the eastern world.

Long story short, if I'm hungry and someone offers me a way to make a living I will take it. I mean the other option is a life of crime so at least a lot of these people are trying to get a job. The fact that the job is ilegal is inconsequential because my alternative is worst than breaking the law. It is easy to see that any reasonable person would take the path of least resistance.

i don't think any body has a problem with them working for low wages it's the fact that most illegal immigrants come into our country and get wellfare and and send their kids to public shools that our tax payers fund and they don't have to pay taxes because they aren't citizens! the immigrants that come into our country legaly are the ones that complain the most about illegal immigrants because they had to go through a process in order to become a citizen and then they have to pay for the illegal that sits at home and sucks on the tit of the american goverment for free!

No its not the immigrants fault that the business owners are hiring them, its the illegal immigrants fault they came into the USA illegally and its the business owners fault for hiring them.
Two different crimes, but both of them are crimes.

she would be able to request. however the corporate would be greater susceptible to hearth her, finding on what CA regulation is (does it punish companies for hiring illegals, or does it basically punish the unlawful immigrants?) If it punishes the corporate, then they might the two pay her the salary, or hearth her. the element is, this is beside the point to minimum salary regulation, and is greater suitable to the regulations on such hiring. this isn't as a lot a "whats up, pay me minimum salary or i'm going to get you in hardship for the wages," as much as that's "pay me X arbitrary quantity (beside the point to minimum salary regulations) or i visit tell government you're paying me interior the 1st place. they might call her bluff, on the muse that they get fined and he or she would get jailed.
