I just joined color guard, I'm in band and I have a lot of things to do everyday (homework, exercising, practicing ect) and I usually end up procrastinating. How can I stop doing this so I don't have to rush everything?

Also, if someone can give me pointers on how to be more confident, that would be great.

take time every day, the same time (for me its 5 o clock) and do homework or practice. just do some every day and eventually it will become habit. as for exercising dont you get enough of that throwing flags and such around? lol jk

confidence is a little harder you have to convince yourself not to care if someone doesnt like you. well atleast thats how it is for me. the thing that made me very confident is i had to make a speech infront of about 800 people for a friends wedding that i didnt know that i had to do. and i just decided ill say what i want and if someone doesnt like me, thats alright. i carried this into everyday by not worring if im gunna say the right thing when i meet someone because if you can just say something thats natural then youll come off as being more confident.

so basically know that not everyone is going to like you but if you just talk to someone like your already friends they will like you if they are going to like you and there not going to like you if they wouldnt anyway

I think that procrastination has a very healthy part of our lives! When we go rushing headlong into life, we miss the more important part of living! We must meditate--We have a spiritual Need to be true to our Nature!! We are not every-one-else!! We are Unique!! We must meditate--take time to ponder our approach to life!

Try to find a motive. It's hard to want to do things when you're getting nothing in return. Discipline yourself.

If all else fails, just be lazy and deal with it. :)
