Does your spouse have the same colored eyes as you? I once heard recently that married people often marry someone with the same eye color and that the marriage will often last longer if they do. Not sure how true this is, but I was curious to see how many people have married a person with the same color eyes.

I have dark brown eyes. My wife has beautiful jade green eyes. We have been married 41 yrs. Interesting premis. I will check back on this question to see the answers.

My eyes are brown, the wifes Blue, Married 30 years, 5 kids, and 3 grand kids

I did not marry someone with the same color eyes and I am now divorced but I really don't think that had a lot to do with it.

No, mine are blue, his are brown. We've been together 12 years, just like our eye color marriage is all about the contrast.

Well I have green eyes and my husband has brown eyes. So no, we don't go by the eye colour. We have also been together for 15 years in march.

My husband's are very dark brown (can't see the pupils) and mine a grayish-blue. We've been married for nearly 15 years and plan on staying that way forever.

I have medium /lightgreen eyes/mixed with a tiny bit of brown and blue undertone , my husabnd has Blue eyes /but there mixed with my color green. Weve basically got the the same color eyes except his is somewhat lighter.That could be semi true because my parents had the same eyecolor and my cousins parents have the same/similar eyecolor

no we have different colored eyes, and we've been married 5 years now.. I'm still madly in love with him so I hope that our eye color doesn't tear us apart~ lol
