That is impossible to say without knowing exactly which plant. Each plant has it's own growth rate. We need to know the plant you are interested in.

You should note in your report that seed germination--->flower time is highly variable. Instead of trying to come up with ONE single number averaging flowering times for all plants on earth, perhaps noting the two extremes would be better...For example : Some weeds found in your lawn and stuff will germinate, and then flower in about 10 weeks. On the other side of the spectrum, some tree species will not flower until they grow (from a seedling) and mature for 20 or more years ! I hope that helped.

It does matter what you are growing, but here are some examples that may help you out.

Beans - 55-75 days from seed to harvest
Beets - 50-60 days from seed to harvest
Broccoli - 55-60 days from seed to harvest
Brussels Sprouts - 80-105 days from seed to harvest
Cabbage - 60-75 days from seed to harvest
Carrots - 60-75 days from seed to harvest
Corn - 55-95 days from seed to harvest
Lettuce - 50-70 days from seed to harvest
Peas - 50-70 days from seed to harvest
Peppers - 70-85 days from seed to harvest
Radish - 20-30 days from seed to harvest
Spinach - 35-40 days from seed to harvest
Tomatoes - 45-80 days from seed to harvest

If you are looking for germination times, some plant seeds can germinate in a single day. Most only require a few days to germinate and show their young new shoots. I hope this helps. lol
