If someone has already hacked into your IP address, is it still okay to put an IP hide address on or should I just leave it alone? (Anonymous Surfing Platinum)

Its really impossible (very rare case to hack into a computer that has no trojans or communicators) if a hacker knows ur ip. whoever says "i c4n h@x y00 cuz i g0t y0 ip addr3$$" is a fake hacker, who has no experience in hacking.

Im not a hacker myself, but i do have a friend who is a true hacker- meaning he can bruteforce, write viruses, trojans, keyloggers, knows social engineering, and reverse engineer programs

ok dude ...hacked, phished, or use your com, puter as a zombie PC?

basically if you have no FW protection, and someone got your IP you're pretty much screwed up and OWNED. means person or group of people can do whatever they want with your computer.

second thing just call you ISP and let then switch to dynamic IP, if you suspect you been a victim of hacking or fishing. in any case use FIREWALL

If someone has "Hacked" your ip address, your screwed.
They can take your bank account details, the lot.
Best thing to do is Reformate your Pc/Laptop, and change your Ip ASAP!

Use a firewall. Yuo didn't provide any details so there no defing whether you were really hacked or whether you got phished or anything. Consider revising your question.

It will prevent other people from doing that, but it wont prevent that person.
