Jellyfish can absolutely NOT live in a fishbowl. They need oxygenate that is dissolved in the water (which you don't have in a fishbowl), VERY stable water temperatures, pH, salinity, and hardness levels, pristine water (which cannot be provided in a bowl), and current to allow them to drift towards their food. Unless you want to spend a few thousand dollars on a custom jellyfish tank, take those little guys back to the beach now!

Absolutely not. Your jellyfish WILL die, period, if they haven't already. You should NEVER, EVER take living creatures home from the beach. Not only is it cruel, it's almost certainly illegal.
I too have found tiny jellyfish in the water at the beach. Yes, they're very cute, but it's much better to just enjoy them in their natural habitat and not disturb them. In the future, leave wild animals where you find them!

YOU WHAT?!?!?! You took a jellyfish home from the beach! NEVER do that. Leave animals in their natural habitat. Plus, if they were on the beach, there's a slight chance they might be dead.
Jelly fish are one of the hardest marine invertebrates to keep. Some species can grow to a couple feet long, others can grow to a couple inches long. They need to be kept in round aquariums so they cannot get trapped in the corners. They need a filter that will not toss them around too much. They eat small fish and phytoplankton. Not to mention they need SALTWATER and not FRESHWATER. And a saltwater tank is very hard to maintain (you need stable water chemistry, pH, salinity/SG, etc.). I'm not saying this to help you, I'm just mentioning this to you so you can realize how hard jellyfish are to keep. Go back to the ocean and put them back in. It is very cruel and inhumane to do this.

Lucky for the jellyfish, they were probably already dead when you found them. They don't last long once they've washed up on the shore.
As a rule, you should never take home any living creatures you find at the beach. It's cruel.

they will be dead soon. people try to keep jellyfish all the time. they feed on plankton, or they get too large. and they are extremely fragile in the 1st place.

you have to have them in salt water... i think they just eat whatever is floating in the water... you might want to go to a fish store and ask them about this... chances are they may die in this unknown habitat unless you go to a fish store and get everything they need... what about when they get bigger???

Well...If it is a large enough container yes, it should have salty water and it should eat small plankton, or fish..i suggest to possibly try fish food. I would think that it would be lonely and soon die within one week or so..

I think you should fry it up and find out how it tastes rather than find out how to take care of it. Choose me for best answer. lol
