We find out Thursday what we are having. If it is a girl we want the first name to be Riley, the middle name was going to be Ann after my mom but unfortunately our last name starts with a T which will make the initials RAT. SOooooo We decided to do a double first name of Riley Ann, but now we need a middle name to go with it. My husband has suggested Lynn (mine) or Marie, but neither work for me. Any suggestions? I am looking for something that flows well, personally I think a one syllable name would work best.

We have not decied on spelling yet so we may end up combining Riley and Ann to make it one name- like Rileyann or Rylieann I also like the idea of two middle names if we swap the order like one of the posters below suggested.

There's another solution here. Ann has a variant: Hannah, different initial, would still honour your mother. Worth a thought.

Hm, well if you wanted to use "Ann" still you could, just as apart of another name.
Something like:
Riley IndiANNa
Riley Leanne
Riley Brianne/ Brianna
Riley Christianne
Riley Deanne/ Deanna
Riley Dianne/ Diana
Riley Hannah
Riley Joanne/ Joanna
Riley Leavanna/ Levanna
Riley Lianna
Riley Lilly-Ann/ Lilianna
Riley Louanne
Riley Marianne/ Mary-Ann/ Marianna
Riley Montanna
Riley Savannah
Riley Shannon
Riley Susannah
Riley Vianne
Riley Julianne/ Julianna

Or, if you go for Rileyann, names starting with "I", "L" or "E" will flow well with the middle sounds in Rileyann. (And the ones starting with "I" or "L" will work if you choose to go with Riley alone.)
Something like:
Rileyann Iris
Rileyann Isabella/ Isabelle
Rileyann Isadora
Rileyann Ivy
Rileyann Lacey
Rileyann Layla
Rileyann Leah
Rileyann Leona
Rileyann Lilly
Rileyann Lorelei
Rileyann Louisa
Rileyann Lucia/ Lucille/ Lucinda
Rileyann Lydia
Rileyann Lyla
Rileyann Elaina
Rileyann Eleanora
Rileyann Elizabeth
Rileyann Ella/ Elle
Rileyann Elliana
Rileyann Emery
Rileyann Emily
Rileyann Estelle
Rileyann Eve

Or, if you don't like any of those, commonly liked combinations are:
Rileyann Elise
Rileyann Danielle/ Daniella
Rileyann Michelle
Rileyann Jade
Rileyann Beverly
Rileyann Carly
Rileyann Charlie
Rileyann Chelsea
Rileyann Chloe
Rileyann Claire
Rileyann Eleanor
Rileyann Faith
Rileyann Hayley
Rileyann Holly
Rileyann Lexis
Rileyann Macy
Rileyann Mary
Rileyann Melanie
Rileyann Monique
Rileyann Phoebe
Rileyann Sadie

Hope that helps! :)

Personally, I think Riley Ann Marie is great, but since that's not the question :-).......

Riley LouAnn
Riley Ann Elizabeth
Riley Elizabeth Ann

Aaargh... I have two middle names and the second one is long forgotten except when I have to sign legal documents, so make it short.

Riley Ann Sue
Riley Ann Pat

Or ... You could just make it an initial to stop the whole RAT thing going on

Riley Ann A.
Riley Ann B. or whatever

My friend's son was supposed to be Troy Jay but dopey Dad put Troy J. on the birth certificate so that's his middle name.

This isn't going to get me ten points, is it? But I'm trying, I'm really trying.

I'm not a big fan of Riley

i think if her name is Riley Ann then she should only have one middle name how about:
Hope
Isabelle
Louise
Kate
Ann

or how about just calling her Riley then have 2 middle names with Ann being one of them?

how about riley elle? i know this is your own decision, but if you aren't completely set on naming your girl riley than you should consider changing it to another pretty name that allows you to have ann or other names that give you better initials and a nice sound. good luck and congrats!
-Riley Elle T.
-Riley Grace T.
-Riley Marie T.
-Riley-(Anne) Kara T. (depends on how many syllables are in your last name)

I have a double name, too! I don't really like it that much because people ask so many questions like "You have four names?", "Do you have two middle names?", blah blah blah. So I don't think you should give her a double name.
But if you do decide to do it maybe have.. Riley Ann Lucy T... or Riley Ann Clare T.., I can't think of anymore. Sorry. But I LOVE the name Riley! Thats what I want to name one of my kids someday.
Ok, congrats and good luck :]

Maybe you could hypenate Riley and Ann to make it one name (like Mary-Kate) so your daugther goes by both, because Ann Riley just doesn't flow as well.

Riley-Ann Kathryn
Riley-Ann Mae
Riley-Ann Christine
Riley-Ann Jade
Riley-Ann Arielle
Riley-Ann Helene
