okay so I'm attempting a precal problem set but I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I am given an equation:

-16t^2+92t+83

I tried graphing it (while my calculator was in parametric mode) but nothing showed up. I've tried adjusting my window settings, etc., but nothing works. please help!

What you posted in your question is an expression, not an equation. An equation is equal to something. This is not. Maybe that's why you are not getting anything.

Also, just because the variable is t, it doesn't mean you automatically have a parametric equation. To have a parametric equation you need two or more variables as functions of t. You only have one expression.

Finally, if you set the above expression equal to zero, use the function mode for graphing, not the parametric mode. Then back the window way up for a very wide view. The numbers will get very big, very quick.
