There's this girl i really like but she's not butch.... i think shes straight...im confused :|

Most of my comrads here have it right...there is no way to tell a persons sexuality based on looks. "Butch" is definitely not the way to tell if a gal is lesbian. Its true that a good handful of lesbians are more masculine looking...but there are also a lot of feminine looking women. Not to mention, I know my fair share of masculine looking/acting women who are 100% straight.
You can, of course, ask this girl if she is gay or straight...but that is way more straight (no pun intended, haha) forward then I could ever be. Depending on your age, where you live, etc....I would just start hanging out with her and striking up conversation (go to coffee or something). You can ask her about past relationships, if she is in one, etc....the kind of stuff girls talk to all the time. And if you are open with your sexuality, let her know early on during "relationship talk" that you are lesbian (or bi?)...this will let her know that you may be open if she is interested and you can see how she reacts to someone being gay. If you are slightly more bold, and prefer to avoid this longer conversation method, try some light flirting. You can be a little flirtacious in a subtle way (girls are allowed to be really friendly, bordering on flirting, without it being a big deal or all that wierd)....depending on how that goes, kick it up a notch and be a little more obvious. Just try to read her as you go and see what happens.

you will be able to tell by how she innteracts with men. if she seems really calm and cool around them, shes either, A. a filthy whore. Or B. An awsome lesbian! haha! I would know I am one. And im not butch, but i can tell how other lesbians innteract with people around them. Men (for once in there life) is the key.

I m lesbian and i think when you met a girl you like you will try to know " She is lesbian or not?" first thing you can do is smile to her and then keep looking at her eyes.if she just look at you and smile ( i mean just smale like say hi that mean she is not lesbian or she dosent interesthing with you,but if she look at you and her eyes narrowed slightly corners of the mouth down,that mean she answer you ( i mean she could be lesbian or she like you) but sometime you need to careful about bi girls however i hope you will happy with your love,Kanesha

Does she talk to girls alot more than guys?
Would she look at girls in the eyes, touch them, hug them, kiss them really friendly?
other than boys if she bothers with, wouldnt do any of this?
You can tell whether she flirts?
I think you should flirt with her, and see how she responds? Sometimes its hard to tell because apprently its harder to reconise people, includes with flirting, tease her alot?
and always look at her directly in the eyes when talking to her, see if she will stare at anyone secretly? that could give you an answer, a boy then shes straight, and a girl, she could be lesbian

Have you tried flirting? A little extra eye contact?Sometimes you can tell from that.
Also, you could ask if she is currently dating someone, what the last relationship was like, etc...

just by looking there is no way its not like she wears a sign saying hey i like girls or boys only
get to know her and after a while you will know all about her.and its not a diease if she is or is not a lesbian.

Ask her. There are no signs or other indications of a person's sexuality or sexual interests. The only way you will know is to ask. If she wants you to know, she'll tell you.
