I am having lemon basil lambchops, shoestring beets, and baked potato along with some French bread. I am pairing this with a 2004 Spanish tempranillo.

I don't eat lamb that much, so I figured today was a day to try something different since the weather is horrible outside. I might as well test my cullinary skills.

What are you having for dinner, lunch, etc. today?

Mary....that sounds delicious, and I've tried lamb twice, still a little gamey for me. (kind of like venison....and when I was really young I had goat's milk on my uncle's farm. YUCK)

Anyway. Tonight we took my husband's parents out for an early dinner to Abuelo's Mexican Restaurant. Very yummy. I pigged out on the tortilla chips, but tried to be better with the chicken fajitas. I skipped the flour tortilla.

Wife's working tonight, so I'm going to have me a big old Sardine sandwich, with some crisps (or as you folks say in the States, chips!
Finely chopped half-onion, one sliced green chilli, salt and pepper, a little chopped coriander leaves. Dash of lime or lemon juice. Mash it all in with the the contents of one small can of sardines, and spread on fresh buttered bread. Cup of hot coffee or tea! Snack heaven!

I'm probably going to have some Shake 'n' Bake chicken. We aren't that fancy on Sunday nights.

Have you been watching Nigela again, you naughty girl?

Can't have lamb... I got sick on it once... I'm having salad.. yeah, a big salad with my special dressing which I make up on the spot, all depending on what I have in the fridge... but I see balsamic, garlic, raspberries and walnuts among other things - I GOT EVOO... finally!

PS - Last night I had crepes with ham and cheese... YUM-O!!!

I've already had mine pork chop, new potatoes, peas and some apple sauce for the chop, very nice it was to. I have to admit though lamb is my favorite but with mint sauce.

I'm body sculpting this week...so....
steamed Ahi tuna with dill and lemon
Raw zucchini with flax seed oil and black sesame seeds
baked yam
blackberries
then I'll work that off with an hour of cardio.
I'll make beef stroganoff over egg noodles, and steamed zucchini for the kids.
I'm craving chocolate though..... :)

I'm going to eat at my parents' tonight... My mom does some terrific creppes, and my dad cooks a superb sweet&sour chicken. We usually eat one of those two.

We're having homemade chili con carne (mama and son), and homemade vegetarian green chili (papa). Plus cornbread and cheese and baked potatoes.
