In my case its his supporters. When I ask a question regarding Dr Paul I usually get insulted by one of his supporters.

The funny thing is that Im not for or against Ron Paul. I would actually support a few of his ideas.

Anyone else have similar experiences?

Both. His policies are not realistic, and his supporters just shout in your face.

I like a lot of Ron Paul's ideas as a libertarian. However, his stand on immigration concerns me. Plus, I know he wants our troops out of Iraq but how would he deal with the Islamist threat.

As for his supporters...they remind me a lot of Howard Dean's back in 2004. Very passionate, but they rubbed a lot of people the wrong way and at times seemed like they were just jumping on the bandwagon just to say they were on. And look at how things turned out.

I'm a Conservative and I do support Ron Paul tremendously. However, it's mostly his supporters that are ruining his chances. A lot of them just seem like neo-hippies and have no idea what his policies are and are just following a fad.

i'm one, but i'd say it would be a little of:

1. a few supporters

2. MSM (mainstream media) that is awful - either ignorant or very sly in their distorting of the truth.
