Only I been posting a question about Evolution and Creation I which I give a list of the different forms of each!
I do not state my belief in order not to effect the out come but people seem to think I am asking in order to prove creation, which I am not if anything other than feed gathering, it is to show that the issue is understood by different people in different ways!
and to point out that empirical evidence is just that.

Why is It that an open question cause such offence?

I'm guessing that people are reacting to your question from a stance of fear. Or possibly, the way you word the question makes others feel attacked.

I do read the entire question before attempting to answer it. How can you answer a question if you don't know the whole of it?

Did you post this question because you really wanted to know? Or did you post it so that you could vent your frustration with people not understanding you?

Yes, people do answer before they know all the facts. It's human nature for unwise people to act or say things before they know what the hell is going on.

And kwxlivr has hit the nail on the head (sorry for the cliche)...I find myself watching the trainwreck that is R&S way too much.

And (I should really start sentences with something other than a conjugation) open questions on evolution and creationism open up things to the fanatical; the fanatical are very rarely rational. So, don't take offense because some answerers can't handle their insecurities or their beliefs being questions. Be confident in the fact that you are a better person than they are.

I just re-read all the answers to your first question, and I don't really perceive anyone taking serious offense. Instead, I read a few serious answers that took your question seriously, and a couple that just proclaimed their views. But I didn't see anyone complain about your question, not at least outright.

And just fyi, I did not take offense and tried to give a well-reasoned response, but I did mildly criticize the way the question was phrased (rather gently I think).

You've got to acquire a thick skin to engage profitably in YA. If you think this is rough, you should check out the Religion/Spirituality topic! One of the reasons I like Philosophy here is that it's less intense than the R/S topic, and folks tend to be more polite and thoughtful here!

specific, that has been my journey a good number of cases, that now I in many cases do study down the different solutions in the previous I submit an answer. multiple cases somebody's answer will strike a twine in me of something i could forgotten and then i delivers a greater effective answer. even nonetheless sometimes I finally end up not answering the question in any respect, because of the fact the others have suggested what i replaced into going to assert in any case and that i don't experience each physique needs my 2 cents.

Yes, I do. And people tend to be touchy and defensive about the subject of evolution. Personally, I think that it doesn't matter what others think of it so long as I know what I believe in. People are strange and generally care too much about other people's opinions.

alot of people are defensive about the evolution vs creation theories, and when they see a question containing those words they automatically jump on the "bandwagon" without thinking

You see, that is a problem, isn't it? I have read so many answers to questions that are like that. I wonder if the person responding actually read the entire question. In fact, I have said as much in my responses.

I personally read questions. I try to take them as literally as possible. :)

I don't know. But they all have there inaccuracies. I don't believe much of what Doctors, priests, and rabbi's say because it is there interpretation of the facts. I'm not saying their not right or they are wrong i'm jsut saying that some may be biased or not that smart and will not take all information into account.
