Unless you have a lot of experience, swapping engines is a bit much for a first timer. Aside from getting hurt, you probably do not have the proper tools or place to work.

BUT! If your bound to do it anyway, grab a Chiltons shop manual

That's a big undertaking for a first timer.

A Chilton's or Hayne's manual will help, but you may find yourself spending all the money you saved by doing it yourself, on the tools you may need to get the job done.

A rule at my shop is 65.00 an hour to work on your car, unless you worked on it first, then it's 100.00 because we hjave to figure out what you did, then fix it right......

order your self a service manual or repair manual book and follow that.
if you couldn't finish get your money ready and call me.
