I just found it in my pocket change and was wondering how much it is worth.

Sorry, but a 1965 Roosevelt is only about $1.50 in MS-65 condition. The 1964D, Double- Die Rev in EF-40 on the other hand is $50.00 and in MS-63 $250.00.

No 1965 silver dimes have showed up yet. They should have by now. Sometimes the outer layers can kind of over lap the copper center or the edge just wears down to where the edge is covered. I have seen several quarters that I though were silver but the copper edge was just covered over by the outer sides. If it was silver it would weigh 2.50 grams, if copper nickel 2.27 grams. You will have to weigh the coin, see a coin dealer or jeweler for a gram scale. That would be the easiest way to tell.

It's pure silver. The brown on the edges is the copper center. "Sandwich" coins are now the norm instead of the exception. Take it to a coin shop.

not much on eBay they go for 3-5 dollars sometimes less then that
