When I was a kid, I was staying with my friend and her parents. She mouthed off, or something stupid like that and her mom pulled out the wooden spoon. We were young (like 6 or 7).
I just pretended not to see it. My friend was humiliated. I don't agree with the action of her mom. But I just ignored it and made a mental note not to anger her mom. It's a little awkward.
If a parent starts making harsh words or spanking your friend, just sneak off to the washroom or something. My mom always pulled me into the other room to yell at me, but some parents don't do that.

What's wrong with another guy seeing me (a guy) get spanked by my dad? It sure ain't fun getting spanked; but what's wrong with a friend watching? Maybe sometime I'll see him get spanked; I'd feel sorry for him and his sore butt.

i had a friend from kindergarten to the 4th grade. we used 2 carpool together + our moms were really good friends. once when i went over her house we got in trouble + both of us got spanked. then another time when we went over my house we both got spanked. it was a lil embarassing cause i didnt really feel the same way about her mom, + i dont think she felt the same way about my mom either.

I laughed, and I shouldn't have because then I was doing the sidewalk dance! Back in the day when we used to have to retrieve our own switch the we would be beaten with. How sadistic is that? Ironically, I miss those days.

Not a spanking, just some really harsh talking too. I pretended not to see it so my friend would not get embarased.
