Have the hackers taken over this site? I posted a question wanting to know if others had received an offer on their screens for being the winner of a prize that said it was not a joke. I have been ignoring it & wanted to know if anyone else was getting this same message. What's this all about, Alphie?

I had trouble posting a question once, got a V for it, before it even got posted. It was asking if any other seniors saw the full moon. I think there are certain 'key' words that they pull automatically. Later they said it was because I was 'chatting'.

As for the 'prize message', I agree with the others, I wouldn't click on it. At best it's probably an ad and could be something more harmful. I have them pop up all the time on my screen too.

When I was in nursing , we had a motto. When in doubt , DON'T!
My daughter clicked on one of those a few years ago and it continued flashing all around the screen and on top of that she got a virus.

Sometimes they don't get posted, especially on Sunday. I think it is because of the overwhelming inter-net traffic that Q&A gets.

You should be able to click somewhere on the ad and it will go away.

since it says that for every body and it says that everytime I open it up again, I think we can probably safely assume that it is some kind of annoying advertising gimmick. Don't open it, you will get on somebody's list and be forever pestered with junk from it that will clog up your computer. There doesn't seem to be a way to close it so I guess we just have to put up with it until it's run its course and is gone.

Sis, you are a telemarketers dream. Don't click on it unless you want tons of junk mail!!! I noticed it too, who could miss it! It drives me nuts and scroll down!

I'm with Donya on these types of "offers", if it looks too good to be true, it probably is! Don't do it.
