Yeah, patent leather pumps are adorable. I wear them in black, red, and navy blue.
I also have a pair of tan peep toe patent leather flats. Also very cute.
So to answer your question, yes I do wear them, and I do like them a lot.

Used to get patent leather for dress shoes with uniform. Found had to be very careful with where I put my feet while sitting. They can get scratched and cut very easily. Use petroleum jelly to clean and polish, then wipe off with soft absorbent cloth.

I only buy dress shoes in patent leather - I think it looks better, especially when you match the shoes to the belt.

kind of tight at first. also hard to clean. also it soon starts looking wrinkly
