Is it located on the Carb? or underneath the truck?

The fuel filter is on the drivers side frame rail.Under your truck about where the front of the door is.Your truck does not have a carb but TBI Fuel injection.You should use line wrenches on the filter this will help in removal and tightening the new filter.Best of luck with your pick-up.

Like said above, along the driver's side frame rail, on the inside of the frame, underneath the driver's door. It will be a metal can about the size of your fist.

Fram fuel filter #3787 if I remember correctly

most fuel filters on these newer Chevy's are located along the frame near the drivers door area just find your fuel line from the tank and follow it toward the front and you will find it between the bed and the windshield near the drivers door
