My super has put a screw right through the grounding outlet of one of the outlets on 6 outlet powerstrip he put in my apartment to hold it up, I was wondering is this safe?

It was in the middle outlet on the strip

if the screw was put in the very last plug furtherest away from the cord and ur sure it was the ground it wouldn't be hitting any live wires so i dont think theres a immediate danger the smart thing to do would obviously be to remove the screw and to mount it properly

NO...... NOT SAFE AT ALL !!!That was a really STUPID move on his part. I hope he didn't cut into any wires inside. That would create a MAJOR fire hazard. That's why they have mounting screw "cut outs" on the backs of power strips to begin with..To avoid situations just like this...I would unplug it immediately and let someone else with common sense put it up the RIGHT way..........
